It’s fall and the weather in Texas is finally starting to cool down – at least a little! It has been a crazy busy summer for all of us here at Community Independence, so we took a collective break (with the exception of our parent support and prayer group, which continues monthly). We are now back up and running and hope to meet more of you in the next few months! We are planning some fun get-togethers for our semi-independent adults. Save these dates and join us –

Finally, you are always welcome to join us at our Grace for Today Parent Support Group meetings. This group is open to all parents and caretakers of any and all special needs/disabled children and adults. We talk about our loved ones, offer encouragement, and pray for one another. We meet on the second Monday of each month, and the dates are listed on our events calendar.
